Privacy policy
This policy matches the scripts on urbanreload.com as of 3 November 2026. The IDs below are the ones in the source: GA4 G-RC1ZZBHJW9, Microsoft Clarity z4mx53xq0j, Adsterra publisher 3403020 (website 6156564, Native Banner 31962636, Social Bar 31962637). Privacy requests go to [email protected].
Default loading and your choice
With no stored choice, this site treats you as having granted analytics, session replay, and advertising, and loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and Adsterra on the first page view. The banner is a notice with two buttons, not a gate. Accept keeps that choice. Reject turns the scripts off, stops the loaders on later pages, and writes the refusal to localStorage under the key ur_consent as JSON {choice:"denied", exp:<timestamp>} for 180 days. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner so the choice can be changed at any time; changing it reloads the page so no vendor script keeps running.
If the browser exposes Global Privacy Control (navigator.globalPrivacyControl), the site records denied on the first visit and does not create the vendor scripts at all. A Do Not Track header is not treated as a separate signal because current browsers have retired it.
Legal basis: we rely on our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in measuring readership, keeping the site working, and funding it with advertising, and on consent where the law requires it. The banner stores an explicit choice only when you press Accept or Reject. Default loading is an opt-out behavior, not evidence of affirmative consent. Reject disables analytics, session replay, and advertising. Adsterra and its partners rely on consent for personalized advertising in the regions that require it. You can object to the legitimate-interest processing at any time with Reject or by writing to the address above.
Google Analytics 4
GA4 loads from googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=G-RC1ZZBHJW9 and is configured with measurement ID G-RC1ZZBHJW9. It records page URLs, referrers, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser details, and interactions such as scrolls and outbound clicks. We use it to count page views and see which guides are read; we do not use it to identify you. GA4 Consent Mode starts with analytics_storage granted and the Google ad signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) denied before GA4 configuration; the page then updates these signals to granted for the default-on visit or Accept. A stored Reject disables the loader and keeps the advertising signals denied. Google collection requests may use www.google-analytics.com.
GA4 sets the _ga and _ga_RC1ZZBHJW9 cookies when analytics storage is granted. Google controls their expiration and the property's event retention; this site has not independently verified the configured retention, so no specific period is claimed here. Opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, block the script, or press Reject here. Google's policy is policies.google.com/privacy.
Microsoft Clarity
Clarity loads from https://www.clarity.ms/tag/z4mx53xq0j for project z4mx53xq0j. It records heatmaps and session replays: clicks, mouse movement, scrolling, taps, page URLs, browser and device details, and the layout of the page. Form inputs are masked by Clarity by default, and this site does not ask you to type personal data into it.
Microsoft documents Clarity identifiers including _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, and SM; not every identifier is set in every browser. Microsoft controls cookie expiry and recording retention, and this site has not independently verified the project's retention settings. The loader uses www.clarity.ms and scripts.clarity.ms; event collection uses regional subdomains of clarity.ms, observed as b.clarity.ms, f.clarity.ms, l.clarity.ms, r.clarity.ms, and u.clarity.ms in the mobile audit. To remove cookies already set, clear site data for urbanreload.com and clarity.ms, or use Microsoft's privacy dashboard at account.microsoft.com/privacy. Microsoft's policy is privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
Adsterra advertising
Adsterra loads from the placement URLs supplied by the Adsterra dashboard, hosted on bicea.org. This build uses two placements: Native Banner unit 31962636 (in-page, directly above the footer) and Social Bar unit 31962637 (a fixed bar at the bottom of the viewport). Publisher ID is 3403020, website ID is 6156564, and adult ads are switched off in the Adsterra panel. We do not run Popunder, Banner, or Smartlink placements on this site.
Adsterra and its ad-serving partners may set cookies and similar identifiers on bicea.org and on their own domains, and may read your IP address, user agent, page URL, and approximate location to choose and measure an ad. Those cookies are set by Adsterra, not by urbanreload.com, so their names and lifetimes are controlled by Adsterra and can change; we cannot read them from this page. Adsterra controls campaign retention, and we have no verified retention period to publish. In the 2026-10-28 browser audit its delivery chain also requested static.nresystems.com, cdn.show-creative1.com, cdn.show-sb.com, and cdn.cloudpiko.com; destination hosts can change with the campaign. The Social Bar uses a urbanreload.com localStorage key, ur_adsterra_closed, to remember that you closed it: JSON {closed:true, exp:<timestamp>}, 180 days. That key is a local preference and is not sent to Adsterra.
Turn off personalized advertising at adsterra.com/opt-out, youronlinechoices.com, optout.aboutads.info, optout.networkadvertising.org, or Google Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com. Pressing Reject here removes the placements and remembers the refusal. Adsterra's policy is adsterra.com/privacy-policy.
YouTube
A video page shows a still image and a Play button. Pressing Play creates an iframe to https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/<video-id>; until then no YouTube frame is created and no request goes to YouTube. Once the frame loads, Google receives your IP address and the page you came from. The privacy-enhanced player can use storage and additional Google delivery hosts such as googlevideo.com, ytimg.com, and gstatic.com after playback starts; its storage depends on browser and player behavior. We do not receive a copy of those cookies. Google's policy is policies.google.com/privacy and its video terms are youtube.com/t/terms.
What is stored on your device

Your rights and contact
Contact messages are handled by Cloudflare Email Routing and our mail-hub Worker mailbox, with a mirror in the operator's Gmail account. We use the sender address, subject, and message to answer the request. Do not send passwords or account-recovery codes. A verified retention period for this mailbox has not been established; you can request deletion at [email protected].
You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of a message you sent us, and you can withdraw consent at any time with Reject or Cookie settings. Write to [email protected]. The ur_consent and ur_adsterra_closed keys are deleted by clearing localStorage for this origin; vendor cookies are cleared in the browser's site-data controls. We do not run an account system. The ad providers process device and browsing data as described above.
